Social Studies is hands down the subject we have the most fun with. Putting a big book in front of my child and telling her "we have to learn history now" was just not going to work for us. My child is more of a visual learner. I had to come up with fun and interesting ways for us to learn history, that was not going to bore us to death. Here are some of the worksheets, YouTube videos, projects and field trips we did. Yes, sometimes we had to improvise a bit, but such is the educational journey.
